Kimani Hunt, 19 a Deans list student at Davidson Count
Community College, is a standout 6’5” on the DCC Storm basketball team who serves
as a role model for other student both and off the court. With a 3.7 grade
point average for the fall 2010 semester and calmative basketball point total
of 765 as of Feb. 18th, Hunt academic excellence and athletic attract
attention. React the caught the attention of recruits from the University of
Northwest Ohio who offered him a full scholarship there to play basketball.
Named to the 1st team all Freshmen in 2009-10 . Kimani Hunt has been
leader for us the last few years both on and off the court,” said DCCC Storm Head
Coach Matt Ridge. “His high standard of excellence has help us win many games,
but its also helped him achieved a lot of success in the classroom, and we are
certainly proud of him proud of him ”Ken Kirk, DCCC’s director of athletics and
wellness agree.
