Among a number of things, he mentioned that paying attention to details was one of the most important qualities for successful coaching and for high achievement in any worthwhile pursuits. He even paid attention to how his players would lace up and tie their shoes strings. If they didn't tie them correctly, he would teach them how.

The statement is confusing. I just don't simply get why we have to do the same thing every day. But oh well. For example, a corrupt cop making easy money and no one doing nothing about it.
